Overall Experience (in yrs.)

15+ years in IT industry with at least 10 years of experience in design, build, deploy and manage MongoDB and Hadoop platforms

Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)

· Experience with multiple databases such as MongoDB and Hadoop NoSQL databases.

· Experience in creating architectures and designs that meets High availability, Disaster recovery, Replication, Shrading , backup and recovery.

· Experience in building security integrations , performance optimization , capacity planning for MongoDB and Hadoop platforms.

· Hands-on expertise in installation and configuration of Mongo-DB & Hadoop platforms

· Experience in building database operation solutions that spread across Monitoring , Patching, Upgrades and Troubleshooting techniques.

· Experience in automating database build , provisioning using shell/ powershell/python/ansible or any other scripting technologies

· Ability to define and design logical and physical database design

· Define plan and strategy to upgrade , consolidate and migrate large\very large databases to private\hybrid cloud

· Experience in cross platform migrations such as RDBMS to noSQL DB , on premise to public Cloud

· Experience with VMware |Microsoft Azure | AWS | Alibaba Cloud Platformdesirable.

Area of responsibilities

Skill Level

· Participate in DB Strategy meetings to discuss roadmap, Reference Architecture, Defining Standards and Applying best practices etc.

· Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for DC design

· Develop Architecture, high level and low- level design drawings and design documents

· Stakeholder management and communication management

· Ensure technical solutions meet the needs of business such as flexible, cost, performance, and security

· Experience in production DBA support for 3-6 years.

· Fine-tune configurations – at database level, server and network level for performance improvement.

· Liaise with internal technology partners and external vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration to ensure solution completeness

· Provide design level support to & Infra implementation team for project delivery and problem resolutions

· Present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.

· Provide training as required and mentor technical team
